What To Expect At Your Visit
Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. In my therapy sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and feelings. Whether you’re going through anxiety and depression, a hard relationship, or separation - I have the tools and professional experience to help you get ahead.

Individual Therapy
I guide my clients on every step of the therapeutic process and implement various methods that help them develop new attitudes towards all of life’s most complex matters. I  can provide CBT based interventions such as compassion focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness. I  also  work at a deeper level with clients though a trauma informed practice incorporating EMDR, polyvagal theory, Internal Family Systems and somatic based interventions.

Child and Adolescent Therapy
Having worked for many years in the NHS as a child psychologist I have experience of working with young people with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. I have developed specialist skills in treating anxiety, low mood, self harm, childhood trauma, developmental difficulties ( ADHD/ASD) and interpersonal relationship difficulties. When working with young people and their families I  draw on a integrative combination of CBT, Somatic therapy,  EMDR, and family therapy.

Family / Systemic Psychotherapy
Bringing people together in a safe and supportive atmosphere can often help to improve communication and allow a better understanding of each other. My focus is on how to move forward although sometimes it is important to think about past events and their impact on the present and future.
Some of the issues I regularly work with are listed below:
â—¾Parenting issues with all age groups
â—¾Issues relating to divorce and separation
â—¾Coping with the effects of violence, sexual or emotional abuse in the family
â—¾Re-building relationships after traumatic event
